The Dynamic Gold X100 shaft is clearly for low handicap to scratch players. Apparently the added weight increases shaft wall thickness, resulting in about a third of a flex increase in x3's vs. x1's (prior to hard-stepping, if you decide to go that route), but there is some unresolved debate about that. Some with 190 ball speed with a driver go from S300 to X100 and the spin change was 300-400 rpm's and this is a guy that can't keep it under 3000 with a driver.
